France: Update: EasyJet plans to release list of strike-canceled flights on 24 December

EasyJet has warned some flights will be cancelled 'as a precaution' due to a strike by French flight attendants on Boxing Day.  The airline announced today that a final cancellation list will be released on Christmas Eve once it has final details about the strike from the SNPNC-FO and UNAC unions.

But it promised a minimum service on every route affected which means at least one flight operating.

A spokesman for the low cost airline said: "EasyJet has been advised of a SNPNC and UNAC cabin crew strike in France from December 25th 00:01 to December 26th 23:59 local time which could affect flights to and from France. "On December 26, EasyJet had more than 1,200 flights scheduled to operate.

"The strike action will affect French domestic flights and currently no UK touching flights are cancelled.  EasyJet will assure a minimum service on every route affected by cancellation. The final cancellation list will be issued on December 24 once the airline has final details from the unions.

"EasyJet would like to apologise to its customers for any inconvenience and strongly recommends passengers flying to and from France on December 26 to check the status of their flight on easyJet.com."
